Why ‘legacy’?
When we launched King’s on Easter, 2021 we had no idea the miracles God was about to perform. In just over a year a healthy life-giving church has been established, leaders have been raised up, the lost saved, marriages healed, over $150,000 dollars have been given to local & global missions and soo much more. The heart of LEGACY is to prepare us to make 2023-2024 our best years yet by investing in 5 key areas
What was ‘legacy’?
The heart of LEGACY is to invest financial resources 5 key areas of Growth:
Local Missions, Next Generation, Global Missions, Church Planting, and Building Remodel
BUILDING REMODEL
(final project: King’s Kids wing)
We will set aside $100,000+ to maximize our building for ministry. A visible, clean and attractive facility is an important tool to reach our community with the gospel. The goal is not to have the best, but to do the best with what we have. The remodel will be focused on the lobby, auditorium and kids spaces.
LOCAL MISSIONS
We will set aside $25,000 to pour into our local community through partnering with local non-profits, community service projects, evangelistic events, and improving digital outreach.
NEXT GENERATION
We will set aside $25,000 to pour into the next generation through NewDay student camp, student events, and internships that develop future leaders.
GLOBAL MISSIONS
We will give $25,000 of the LEGACY Resource Initiative towards international missions.
CHURCH PLANTING
We will set aside $25,000 of the LEGACY Resource Initiative into a Church Planting Fund. This fund will be used to train future church planters through full-time residency and internship programs and resource planting churches in the KC metro and beyond.
How to
contribute
LEGACY started as a 12-month Resource Initiative running from December 11th, 2022 - December 31st, 2023.
We will seek to inform and exhort, but will not hype or compel. We trust the leading of the Spirit in your life and would encourage you to do whatever Jesus asks you to do (John 2:5).
